Outreach at Incarnation

• The Pastoral Care Team:

  This team organizes pastoral outreach within both our parish and beyond. Meetings are held monthly. Facilitator: The Reverend Nancy Bryan, Deacon.

• The Parish Prayer List:

  Our parish prayer list is updated monthly. Please contact the church office with your prayer requests. We regularly pray for those who are homebound, sick, or in need of special prayer, as well as those who have recently died. Prayer is an important part of our ministry to the world. Please join us in this ministry.

• Visits to Western Parks Apartments:

  Visit Western Parks Apartments for seniors (1280 Laguna near Geary) from 10 a.m. to about 12:30 p.m. on the first Friday of each month with Father David Lui and fellow parishioners for Eucharist, fellowship, and lunch.

• Visits to Laguna Grove Care Convalescent Home:

  Sundays as announced; a brief service of Holy Communion for the residents; Laguna Grove Care, 3rd Floor; open to all. Contact the Reverend Nancy Bryan, Deacon.

• Donations for Sunset Youth Services:

  Contributions to the food box located in the church foyer are gratefully accepted year round. These donations help support families in need.

• Donations for the Martin de Porres House of Hospitality:

  Socks are collected throughout the year for the homeless at Martin de Porres House of Hospitality. We also sponsor a winter coat and blanket drive. The collection box is located in the foyer.

• Language School:

  Saturdays, 9:30 a.m.–12 noon, in Shires Hall during the Spring and Fall terms. Volunteer instructors teach ESL classes to adults; a concurrent Chinese language program is also offered. For more information contact Father David Lui.

• Afterschool Children's Program:

  Monday–Friday, 3–6 p.m., Shires Hall, according to the SFUSD calendar. Homework supervision by credentialed teachers followed by computer games, music lesson, and art workshop for children grades K–6.

• Child Observation Classes:

  City College of San Francisco's child development classes for toddlers and parents meet weekly in Shires Hall. Contact City College of San Francisco for enrollment information.
